Child and Young Adults Services
Psychological evaluations are available at both office locations for adolescents and young adults. The evaluation is a useful tool in determining an individual's difficulties in school and at home. It is used to answer complex questions about one's functioning, to clarify diagnosis, and to inform treatment. Based on information we gather through a clinical interview, we will determine which of the following assessments are appropriate:
ADHD

Determines the presence of an Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
Autistic / Developmental Delay Disorder

Determines the presence of a Developmental Delay
Intelligence / Adaptive Behavior

Determines cognitive strengths, growth areas and the level of adaptive functioning
Learning Disability

Determines the presence of a Learning Disorder within reading, writing, and mathematics
General assessments

Determines emotional, behavioral and adaptive functioning and identifies diagnoses that may underlie areas of difficulty. These include:
